Second opinion antivirus.
ThreatExpert is a tool developed currently as a prototype to scan your PC's memory for malware and viruses. The useful thing about this program is even though it doesn't scan your entire system for threats, it only looks at what's in the memory so it's a tool for post-infection as opposed to protecting you from getting infected.
Since it's a prototype and moreover beta-level software, ThreatExpert is not completely supported nor will it necessarily detect all threats, but it does a good job at finding more widespread malware.
On testing this software, we found it did quick work of scanning our system memory and thankfully, it didn't find any threats currently running in the background.
ThreatExpert Memory Scanner is a great secondary tool to check whether you're still infected with something, a great second opinion, if you will.
Also, though their web site doesn't mention support (to date) for Windows 7, we can confirm it works on this operation system.
Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are available.
